Methamphetamine Recovery

There is an “explosion” of methamphetamine use and addiction in the United States.  Methamphetamine is also known as “speed”, “crank”
“meth” or “chalk”.  If smoked, it is often known as “ice”, “G” or “glass”.
Meth is the strongest drug of what scientists refer to as the “amphetamine class”.  A large number of drugs fall into this category, including the club drug MDMA (ecstasy) and (for the purposes of Crossroads) cocaine. Even small amounts can have a profound effect on the central nervous system. Effects of amphetamine use include; addiction, psychotic behavior and long term brain damage. Symptoms of withdrawal include intense cravings, anxiety, chronic fatigue, paranoia, aggression and depression.

Are you struggling with crystal meth or possibly have a crack cocaine addiction? Do you have a prescription drug addiction? Crossroads can help with you with your chemical dependency problem.  Even though we are not a drug abuse treatment center, we are a state licensed Level 4 transitional living facility for men and women struggling with addictions. Crossroads approach to sobriety is based upon 12 Step Programs typified by Crystal Meth Anonymous® and Cocaine Anonymous®.
